I didn't spend close to ten grand on my Jeep to drive it around town. Hell, I'm going to Bridgeport by myself this Sunday, because I couldn't find one, single rig to go with me. But at this point, I'm kinda sick of the Texas attitude that "I'll just respond sometime".
Anyone who wants to come down and wheel with me is welcome to. And I still plan on wheeling at night on Friday and partying in town Saturday night. Like I said in my initial post in this thread, I'm still going down for the weekend. After that, then we could start discussing the other stuff. So we wanted to get that nailed down first. There were very few rooms available in town, due to the number of weddings going on. But the first item of business was getting the t-shirts and hotel booking out of the way. wasnt this the week we were all gonna meet and talk about what we all could do etc? - either way it sucks man, i sense your frustration and annoyance through all the TX-F-F postings.It was.
If anyone wants to convoy with me, let me know. I'm leaving from Dallas around lunchtime on the 20th. There are several hotels in Marble Falls and the park offers excellent camping facilities. Your accommodations are your own responsibility. The park is Hidden Falls Adventure Park, just outside of Marble Falls, TX, northwest of Austin. If you have any friends that want to join us, by all means, invite them. If you want to join me (I know emoody, Climr, Spanishgoose, Dutchboy, and Hook-em are), then you are welcome. It's been since November since I've gotten away for an entire weekend and I'm not gonna let the lack of enthusiasm about the fest ruin it for me. I will still be going to Hidden Falls that weekend (April 20-22).
